Contentious Deals - arms exports from Germany | People & Politics

Germany is the world's third biggest weapons exporter. Increasingly, the government is watering down the restrictive
weapons exporting guidelines, helping German armaments companies negotiate lucrative deals. As a result hundreds of Leopard 2 tanks are apparently now to be sold to Saudi Arabia and Qatar. Many parliamentarians are now demanding more say when it comes to arms exports.
